Smilane Milking Herd Dispersal

The SMILANE milking herd dispersal took place on May 30, 2008 at the farm.  The unofficial sale average on 46 lots of live animals was $2452.   The top seller was Smilane Talent Camilla VG 85-2yr,  Ladino Park Talent daughter of Irishview MM Carmen.  She sold for $7,200 to Birkentree Holsteins.  Tied for second high sellers at $5,400 were Smilane Integrity Dot VG 89 from the Donna Mattador Family purchased by Regwall Holsteins and Blue Diamond Dundee Sandee purchased by Curtmar Farms. 

A Good crowd took in the sale on a fine day in PEI.
 

Atlantic Spring Showcase 2008

On April 12, 2008 The Atlantic Spring Showcase was held in Fredericton, NB.  The show was judged by Gilles Bernard of Bernadale Holsteins, Richmond, PEI.
